Ministry Leaders of Lakeside Christian Church
Leadership Team
Lakeside Church uses a Leadership Team structure to oversee the function of all aspects of the ministry. The members of the Leadership Team; Tim Newton, Sarah Morrison, and Jeff Bonkoski, work alongside the Lakeside Elders to provide vision and teaching for the congregation. The Leadership Team seeks to equip people to be empowered doers serving within our church and reaching out to others around us.
We believe God empowers all believers to be an integral part of the church. Romans 12:5-8 says: "We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully." We love to see the church body empowered and functioning together- each having a different part for the purpose of building up, caring for the needs around us, and reaching out to our community.
Congregational Teams
We see great value in developing teams of people within the congregation to help manage the daily functions of the ministry. Jeff Bonkoski serves as our Ministry Coordinator to help develop and provide oversight for these teams. It is our desire to see all people within our body be released to serve in areas the Holy Spirit has empowered them which includes areas of INreach (ministry within our congregation) and OUTreach (ministry to our surrounding community and the world).
